Duncan was the only star on that team. Parker was a 20 year old kid who got benched for Speedy Claxton in the clinching game against the Nets. Robinson was on his way out, Ginobili was raw. The only exceptions are maybe the Rockets in 94 and the Pistons in 2004. Maybe the Spurs in 99 or 2003 too. But they still had a hall of fame player in D-Rob.

You surely remember how the greats of the time felt about that move. Particularly MJ. He made a point about how u should be tryna beat the best, not join 'em.
