:ehh: True, true. But havin' to team up w/ another Alpha male to do it? :scusthov:

If you really want to go back I guess Jerry West needed another "alpha male" like Wilt to win his championship. If you want to apply this retarded bullshyt ass logic to other Athletes in other sports I guess Deion Sanders needed Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Ken Norton to win his title.

People should be banned for this type of moronic thinking. T/S and others in this thread are just as, or worst than the God of trolling Skip Bayless. :smh:

:wtfnas: And Wade wouldn't have won more without Lebron. That's the way it is in sports:beli: The best TEAM wins championships. Jordan had pippen, shaq and Kobe had each other and so on. You can't take that away from lebron especially since he's the fukkin MVP of the league. Let me repeat Most Valuable Player. Now let that marinate:naswon:

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
i see you google them stats..but parker and Robinson had something to do with that like i said...everyone needs that 2nd scorer

Duncan was the only star on that team. Parker was a 20 year old kid who got benched for Speedy Claxton in the clinching game against the Nets. Robinson was on his way out, Ginobili was raw. I remember people calling them the worst title team of the modern era (at that time) because of the lack of star power on the team. :yeshrug:

After losing in '95 against the Magic. MJ needed an alpha male like Rodman to join him and Bulls in the 2nd 3-peat :troll:

Nobody ever considered Rodman to arguably be the game's best player. 3 years ago, you could've argued Flash to be the game's best player.

And Jordan wouldn't have won without Pippen, and Magic wouldn't have won without Kareem, and Bird wouldn't have won without McHale. All great players need at least one other All Star to win a title. The only exceptions are maybe the Rockets in 94 and the Pistons in 2004. Maybe the Spurs in 99 or 2003 too. But they still had a hall of fame player in D-Rob.

You surely remember how the greats of the time felt about that move. Particularly MJ. He made a point about how u should be tryna beat the best, not join 'em. Sports is about competition, what's the point in playin' if there's virtually no legitimate challenge out there? And who's sayin' those above instances are cool? This isn't about a person, it's about competitive balance, somethin' which the NBA @ least has never known anything about. Past wrongs don't condone future misgivings.

So all of these instances, had two, arguably 3 alpha males, possibly the best @ each position, team up together in their respective primes? (Srs question)

No one's arguing ur latter point point; the former one's in hindsight. Wade wasn't an established star when Shaq went there. Up-and-coming? Yes, but he easn't that nikka yet.
