Cleveland's defensive numbers(The starters) are poorly skewed.Love isn't a center,and Crowder is an undersized PF who should be coming off the bench....Move Love back to PF,then get Cleveland a legit center,and you will see the defense/rebounding improve.

Over the last couple of weeks it's been decent and the team overall is playing well and gets timely stops. It was atrocious to start the year though.

Defensive NBA stats are misleading.I remember Lue saying JR was the best defender on the team last year

I mean shyt, was he not? He defended the primary threat on the other team for most of the offs and when they played someone too tall for JR (KD), he went off. IDK how to make the argument that JR was the best cause I’m lazy, but you could SEE he was the primary defender at least

When he wants to play defense..hes great at it. Too bad breh is 90% of the time..which is understandable considerin the heavy minutes he has played since 2006 (his first playoffs) ..etc.

TPA isn't a very good defense metric.

He’s above average on all metrics and statistics. If they need a stop in a close game, he’ll get on the best player but majority of the time he’ll play free safety but nikkas so scared of him they’ll miss uncontested lay-ups around him.

He definitely up his defense during this 8 game win streak
