He was playing like Kobe or MJ with his aggressiveness in game 2. It worked and it was working early in game 3. He sinks a couple of more 3s and it stops the Spurs momentum.

I predicted this would happen tho but I blame it on his 60 year old level stamina. Dude is in his prime. He should be playing the whole game.

Kobe averaged 43 mpg when he was 29 in the finals. Lebron is at 36. Even if you take out game one it is still only 38 mpg. Even 5 more min would make a difference.

He has trouble balancing his offense when Wade plays well this year.

Wade's offensive game is too one dimensional right now, pretty much all step back jumpers. Hard to play off of that. He should flash to the basket more and try to hit the offensive glass when Wade is making his old man moves.

Brons is not over thinking, Bron is tired and doesn't realize it's like playing street fighter with a one second delay on the moves.

He did carry a larger role this regular season. Especially with Wade sitting out so much. So that could be a contributing factor. Just saying that if these last 4 finals trips taught us anything...when LeBron is playing on instinct...he cant be stopped......when he focuses so much on making the right play.....he has a bit of issues against sophisticated defenses. Fatigue could be why he's trying to so hard to make the right play...but also catch while at it.

LeBron has to do everything for the Heat. So its natural that he'd get a little tired.

ETA: for everyone posting...no one is blaming Bron for the loss. Just discussing why he stopped being aggressive. Spurs won this game.

He led his team with 7 turnovers and let his counterpart score 29 points. He gets credit for wins, butt not losses? FOH
Entire team didnt show up tonight, TEAM defense was ass, and the spurs shot ALL WORLD tonight... This L isnt on him, moreso on the poor play of wade and chalmers if anyone. Thats how the spurs built the lead.

But the heat lost as a team, we will be back game 4. Mark my words

True. But Kobe was never asked to lead the team in rebounding and be the primary playmaker.

Kobe does have more endurance though. Back in the day he would play 45 mins if needed.

Even broken down Wade is a better penetrator. He's not that slippery.mostly just inconsistently diesels his way through nikkaz in the lane.

If it wasn't for ability to overpower dudes in the lane, I wouldn't even give him average.

Wade in his prime and LeBron right now get from A to B better than anyone in the league, but just because one guy gets from A to B with finesse (prime wade, flab wade sometimes) and another guy (LeBron right now) gets from A to B with power doesn't mean one is better than the other.

They just do things differently and both styles have their disadvantages

I dont think he's over thinking anything. Bron is capable of having a 2 point quarter, then exploding for 20 in a quarter.

Tonight however, he was clearly gassed by the 3rd quarter and that was his downfall tonight

Of course Lebron deserves blame for the loss, but did you see the game? Did you see the spurs go 19-23 before the end of the 2nd qtr.

At one point they were shooting 84 and 90% bruh. The spurs as a whole were too much for Lebron and the heat. Lebron could have scored 35 and the spurs still would have won.

Spurs putting Diaw in the starting lineup was a good look.

They're harder for the Heat to defend when he's out there.

Low key, he's punking the shyt out of Bosh and Lewis, to.

His court vision in bananas.I think he's 2nd only to Magic when it comes to 6'8 and taller players with the ability see the court/pass

He never loses his composure when they're running sets. You just trust his ability to execute plays out there:yeshrug:

Miami just ain't that good outside of Lebron. I mean, Cleveland was better overall. If Wade was still Wade, he would make Miami's lack of talent not as notable but he ain't. Duncan even at this age cancels out Bosh. Then SA dominates the rest of the match-ups including the bench. SA takes less to play with each other. They bring in guys who are all about winning.
