Tell me where I am wrong?

Who puts more energy into defense and offense as Lebron in NBA history? I am a big man type of person who been watching for years, I can't think of anyone who has come close to what Lebron has done this year.

Lebron guards the other teams best player in SPURTS

he doesnt even do it during the regular season cause he doesnt need to...the Heat win most game EASILY

Battier guarded the other teams best offensive player in 2012 and 2013. Now that battier is :flabbynsick: Lebron has to do more. Even with that, he was not even guarding George most of the time during the Indy series.

He could not even contain Leonard today :pachaha:. What was he doing out there?

If the Spurs win Game 4, then I'll believe they truly have gotten better... in this moment
Have you been watching the NBA this season? The Spurs proved they gotten better during the regular season. Miami proved they gotten worse.

I have watched both teams. I agree the Spurs got better and the Heat slightly worse

But you need to beat LeBron and that team FOUR times. No one has done it in 3 years.

This gotta be one of silliest things I've read. Do you watch Lebron defend? He was playing great off ball defense, team D, on the ball D, Lebron is damn near everywhere on defense. Just guarding whoever is hot for the moment isn't what defines Lebron.

Battier starts on them and Lebron finishes it. That's usually the plan in the regular season till this season.

Leonard was getting drives out of quick rotations where a Heat would gamble, put the defense out of sorts and he would attack that way. He wasn't just straight up attacking Lebron on isos homie. You really don't understand what you are talking about in this case. I think you just reacting and not understanding what you are seeing.

Slightly worse? I would say they are worse with a gap. They had to rely on Lebron using 100% instead of 90% consistently like last year during the regular season. This reminds me of Cleveland's Lebron.

Wade's regression has done a number to this team.

with greater intensity than anyone in league history though?

and carrying the offense with 22 points 7 assists and 7 turn overs

that level of output is the best in nba history?

Over-thinking isn't lebrons problem...his real problem is that for all his greatness...his game is still predicated on just brute strength...game in and game out he just runs at the goal and overwhelms the other team with his sheer size and force...

Problem for him is that San Antonio has 2 players that he cannot just consistently truck stick to the hoop and finish over...

Leonard has the foot speed to stay in front of him and is just strong enough to challenge his shots at the basket

Diaw has just enough foot speed to stay with Bron but is strong enough to make it hard for Bron to just power over him...

That means San Antonio can at least challenge every Lebron drive...shyt is just tiring him out...Diaw and Leonard are not small men at all...

That is why his play against San Antonio is so erratic...sometimes they go in...sometimes they don't...sometimes he takes 10 jumpers in a row

That is why he wasn't that aggressive after the 1st...nothing to do with him thinking...dude got tired...he is so used to just running a dude over...

There is also those random instances like tonight...where Pop fires Leviathan up and he can just go toe to toe with Bron...of course he can't do it...yet...for an entire game...but that's another 7 minutes of Bron having to battle a dude similar in size to him, taking it right at him...how many times does that happen night in and night out in the eastern conference...outside of George doing a good job on Bron every now and then...

There is a reason why you see him being asked to be taken out so much this series...dude is tired as fukk...don't think i have seen bron asked to be taking at in his whole career more than i already seen in just 3 games this series...

You saying this like Lebron is their only player. If he had someone else stepping up at a very high level, his flaws wouldn't be as evident like last year when Wade stepped up was elite in some of their wins.

If you need a superman out of this world performance to win the series with your current roster, you aren't beating the Spurs. That's a fact.

If Miami just needed Lebron-esque performance, they could win the title but they need him to perform at levels no one can consistently perform at. If the stakes get that high, you just aren't meant to win.

Father Time :flabbynsick: Is catching up to:sadbron: slowly but surely. Can we get a flat top Lebron James smilie
This is really a post that should get negged. If you were talking about Wade, it would make sense but Lebron? No one has ask ANY player in NBA history to do more than he does for the Heat. Only one close is Wilt with Philly and even then, he wasn't using as much energy as Bron is. If we had that soccer tracker for distance covered for these Finals, Lebron would be on some astronomical level in terms of distance covered.

I agree he puts in a lot of work but that's what's speeding up the :flabbynsick: Process. He will be 30 this year with a ton of nba mileage. No disrespect but all that wear and tear is bound to catch up with him. We are starting to see signs of it now.

The triangle lessens the importance of a traditional "playmaker".

that lead the team:manny:
No the triangle lessens the importance of a traditional point guard. You still needed someone to facilitate and break down teams off the dribble to keep the triangle effective especially if the post game isn't working as well. Also the triangle was often abandoned in crunch time situations in favor of Kobe ISO plays

What exactly is a traditional point guard if not a playmaker?
