It will always amaze me how Lakers org got rid of their young core that they could build around for a bunch of has beens. That was one of the biggest fumbles in recent basketball history.
it was a risk because who knows what would have happened during offseason davis actually did get traded and the pandemic season prior to the offseason he was scheduled to be a free agent but they could have just held onto their assets and waited to sign him during the 2020 offseason. theres a lot of variables in that but i dont think klutch client and lebron superfan anthony davis would have signed with anywhere other than the lakers. so you dont have that bubble title, but you go into the 20-21 season with lebron, ingram, davis, and a deep team around them that should be good for years to come.

I dont think they should have signed LeBron. I mean, it's LeBron, I get it, but why would you sign an aging Lebron? Dude is on the downside of his career. You might get one or two rings out of him, if that. And there's an argument to be made that if the bubble hadn't happened, he never would have got the ring that he did get.

I think building a team around the young guys was what they should have been doing, and if you just gotta bring Bron in, he needs to be clear on what his place is, in the grand scheme of things. We want you to retire here, we're glad to have you but you're not the main character anymore. :yeshrug:

this is why I don't fukk with dude

he cries constantly for sympathy but this the same dude who just re-upped in a shytty situation knowing what it was. a shytty situation that he not only co-signed but damn near created.

klutch about to come in with a captain save a hoe articles and blaming the FO like they did at the trade deadline last year

Yep. This is why a lot of people don't rock with him. I went to a Pistons game and this fool down there on the floor going in on his own teammates basically letting the whole arena know what was going on. I just don't remember Jordan doing that stuff. Jordan might have beat a nicca down in the Locker room but we the fans didn't know nothing about it. LeBron is one of those folks who is always looking to cast blame somewhere else, like he's gonna get out from under the blame no matter what. To him, there's definitely an I in team.

ALL them dudes ballin now too :russ:

Outside of lonzo, he still blossomed after he left but can’t stay healthy for shyt.

They would’ve had a decent little core now had they been patient. I can see why lakers nation feel some type of way about all of this but this is more on the front office than bron. Should’ve put their foot down, didn’t and now no one is happy :mjlol:

To be fair another Main character is required before the previous can be replaced.
