Rick said it took 4 years to complete the album.

If we take in the fact Rick did the majority of his own production, plus the writing, filming the movie (which was shot across three different continents) then masterminding the marketing and promotion which includes the film premieres at various large scale film festivals; I think 4 years makes sense.

get what youre saying but its still 27 minutes of music to me, regardless of microwave era, personally feel its a bit too long putting the outcome in balance

I’m not going to click Rick’s work flow I think the album has a unique sound to it but I’d have liked perhaps a cameo with Anderson park. & maybe a posse cut with MC’s from his generation. Still the album sounds dope I gave it a few spins.

I think Rae, Ghost and Mobb are definetly coming real soon as they seemed close to complete. Rae had the listening session last month

Woudnt be suprrised if Ghost and Rae drop after the Wu tour is done

Rae confirmed for July 18th

My guess would be Ghostface in early August and De La late August. Mobb and Big L get September and Nas & Premier get Oct or November.

I hope this is true. We had the same problems with social media putting out a release date for GFK and it was never true.

Until I don’t see it on Nas, mass appeal records or Rae’s page about a release date, Im not gonna believe it.

Rae hasn’t put it on his page yet but Stereogum and Clash are legitimate sources. Clash even announced Kings Disease 2 was coming with the proper release date before Nas and Mass Appeal did.

The other release dates are just my guesses. I think Ghost comes next after Rae because it makes sense to keep the Wu synergy going as of course Ghost will be on Rae’s album and its common sense to expect Rae on Ghost’s album plus Ghost’s album is the last of the Legend Has It series to have an album title, indicative of a certain level of thematic vision and completion. The Mobb Deep, Big L, De La and Nas & Premier albums don’t have official titles yet.

This Rick album all over the place with the feedback, I’ve seen people saying it’s disappointing and people saying it’s amazing
it was the album i feared he was making after hearing the single he had out years ago with the similar old school vibe.

i listened to art of after this and there's no comparison. i like a handful of songs on this album but sonically it's poor to me. I won't run it thru
