Gates is one of the realest rappers makin that kinda southern street music right now imo.. have you watched an interview from him? If not, check one out.. the one with Peter Rosenberg one is great

Dude talks about trappin but that isnt the only thing he raps about. he gives a insight to him, his thoughts, his emotions. He can make any kind of track, hes versatile.

If you dont like him, thats fine but to claim hes a carbon copy just comes off misinformed in terms of his music.

i didn't like his album, but at least schoolboy q is original. he has his own swag and i respect that.
