BTW since we're on the topic of Meek Mill I'm just gonna go ahead and post this cause this might have been my favorite jam of the year and NOBODY was talkin about this shyt.
Not tryna make a case for Meek's lyrical ability cause otherwise I woulda used a different song but this track is just ridiculous. That's one of the hardest beats in a LONG time.
But if we ARE talkin about Meek then come on you older cats gotta cut the kid some credit. I wasn't feelin him when I first heard him either but eventually his energy won me over. And when you actually delve into his shyt and get a taste for him you could see the kid is really talented. nikkas flow is like a punch in the face.
Everybody always telling me I need to listen to Meek, I cant get into him nothing stands out about his music
Meek Mill is one of the few street mainstream rappers who can actually spit
dude has probably hours of footage on youtube of him freestyling on dvds, battling cats on the street, freestyling with lil snupe, at radio stations, etc..if you say hes trash you just hatin
there isn't shyt to dude's music.
young nikkaz like him.
all because they like bigg'n up the rapper who sucks at rapping like they do.
they don't want shine or light to come to a higher skilled artist.
as, they feel it will place their dream of being a starlet further out of their grasp.
they aren't fooling anyone with that shyt.
they never talk about skills or culture.
all because they subscribe to the same toy shyt.
then, want to navigate above being g checked.
when, they release their same unskilled bullshyt.
they want the same pass, extend to the wack nikkaz for them.
wack nikkaz don't like the culture because it exposes their lack of skill.
plus, brings to light their revenue grab intentions.
which, continually shows they really are not about shyt.
