Most sales came from X1/PS4 it sold over a million on each of those consoles alone.
I don't think gta3 did that first week
I just kno Gta sold 17 mill on Ps2 in one year. WD gonna have to keep up a hefty pace to match that. And I bet the PS3/360 outsold Ps4/X1
Nah it's already been said that ~80% of the sales come from next gen consoles.
And according to wiki the game sold 17 million all time, and that's after being ported to every system under the sun.
Not very many games achieve the success of gta, but right now its looking like watchdogs has potential to do so
If the next Red Dead has John Marston's son as the protagonist....
It would make sense and if they go that route then I have no complaints, but it should follow a new hero entirely

Once people stopped foolin' themselves and admitted that the arcade driving, near non-existent car damage, anvil aiming, hunchback "stealth" system, psychic spawning police system, average ass shooting mechanics, forced cover system, toned down gore/wound system, city full of buildings but nothing fukkin' enterable ect - was all half assed.
What you have is that the Haters are more dedicated to hating than the people who love the game are to keep on praising it.
Its like this with whatever though. Haters always work harder
true it will...but you know what would boost next gen more: separating from the old gen....this gen just started and there are still damn good games coming out on ps3/360...the next gen will pick up when that stops....
The ppl who played the game 72 straight hours in order to beat the storymode started complaining afterwards

i think GTA was a great game but it was missing a couple of key components to really make people go wow.
gang warfare like in GTA SA and more heists like they promised. the heists were the best part of the game and u only get like 3 or 4 missions.
