I don't think anyone is saying Biggie grew up in some Will Smith Fresh prince of bel air type of lifestyle, but his mom did in fact take care of him and spoiled him, he was living well off as a kid growing up, his mom said he had so many video games that he would lend them to his friends, and she bought him name brand clothes. As a teenager Pac was living in some of the worst hoods in the country, had a crack head moms and had a lil sister that needed to be taken care of as well.

Let's be honest, you don't know where biggie spent his time. Has clinton hill always been nice, I can see in circa 80s brooklyn it wouldn't be. You walk 2 blocks outta ya way in any nyc neighborhood u can go from hood to luxury. Staten island has nice houses too, gets played as soft, yet has a higher concentration of illegal life than most these rappers and its white mobsters in million dolar houses with guys who dropped more bodies than ya favorite rappers street representative. This thread is hating. Middle class kids gotta hustle for nice things too. Middle class doesn't mean luxury. fukk outta here.

Middle class means not living in poverty. Not living in poverty means having more options than those living in poverty.

Therefore, someone with options who decides to ignore those options and join those living in poverty looses points. Project nikkas dont have as many resources but he decided to ignore his resources and live as if drugs were his only option.

If he was a king pin and made a lot of money selling drugs then it would make more sense. It would still be deplorable but it would make more sense.

Clinton Hill was not some rosy area in the 70's, 80's, 90's. Wasn't nothing sweet on Fulton street, Murder ave and plenty other blocks. Plenty of drugs being sold and plenty of fiends. Plenty of nikkas getting shot...check the 88th precinct crime stats from that period. Fort Green was the same way. Biggie grew up 4 blocks from Classon ave and like most ppl who lived on this end of the hood considered it Bed-Stuy. My moms grew up on Downing street and always considered it Bed-Stuy. Also, there's a BIG difference between working class and middle class.
