to me, max's weaknesses show when they have special guests. I thought Skip was great at interviewing guests. asking those tough questions. I watched the interview with Denzel washington's son and Max didnt know what to ask him. Stephen a carried the whole conversation. Skip would have fit right in and asked all the questions about ballers.

Nah. Max and SAS have zero chemistry. SAS needs to stop turning up to disagree with Max to try and force the opposition that he naturally had with Skip. Bomani vs SAS was the right choice but we know why that would never happen

I still say they should have revamped First Take with Max and Marcellus. They could actually go back to covering ten topics instead of a few agenda driven ones. SAS is everywhere on ESPN already.

I agree, however, they do have the WatchESPN App that allows you to watch all their shows live from your phone. I'm sure they account for those ratings as well.
