But as somebody who got out to college during the late 2000s recession, the job market now compared to back then is just crazy. Like you couldn't find a job to save your life at the time, you had college grads working at Walmart or McDonalds (and not as managers).
Drove home from work day and saw Wendy's hiring for $13/hr and basically begging people to work for them
I barely made that coming out of college. And I have recruiters leaving voicemails like every few days despite the fact that I haven't applied for a new job in years or even updated my LinkedIn profile.
Say what you want about inflation, but if you're unemployed in this job market and don't actually want to be I don't know what to tell you
