Without the good production and features as a rapper he's kinda trash, I feel like he's kinda overrated.

He’s a good rhymer but he doesn’t have bars. I don’t hear the top tier discography these folks talk about. Every album is literally the same. 80% of the time if there’s a feature he’s gonna steal their style/flow and use it on the song.

He’s the same as Rick Ross to me. People think highly of them cause they know what they’re gonna get. Nothing great, nothing whack. Consistent mid/average music.

Yeah but we're talking two different kind of artists though. Kendrick is a perfectionist, probably the first or second of his kind in rap. And probably the only rapper that was ever able to make truly critic-proof music.

Game is a more of a "vibe" artist, knows he makes plenty of mistakes, and tries to compensate with flawed bu bumpy production.

Game is more comparable to the likes of Young Thug, Birdman, etc

Game himself cried not long ago because he gets no respect even from west coast fans. And being from the West myself, I can confirm nobody really listens to Game...if it wasn't for thecoli, I wouldn't even know game was still active

"The Documentary was a good album" got nullified pretty soon when rap fans realized it would be the weakest album in most post 2010 rappers' discographies...not even trying to be edgy, this shyt is just a bunch of name drops over typical (but very flawed) west coast production
