Exactly. If anyone had a right to complain about the previous generation, it would be them, not us.

Its a complete lack of understanding to assume they our elders were given the same playing field that we are given today.

Its just ignorant to even compare the two

That's the thing. All of us didn't even want integration. Integration was something they allowed us to have and now we are more divided than ever as a result. But we cant blame previous generation for that becuz many of them didn't wanna integrate

We're still not integrated... It never really happened.... Can someone please point out this integration that coli posters like to harp on

You don't think they gave us the illusion of integration to keep control of us?
Breh this is not rocket science. They whether believe in that "illusion" then to fight for real freedom and they can't control us. We allowed our selves to be "controlled" because of fear

I've stated many times, thecivil rights movement was a farce. Back then Malcolm X was the only one really saying anything different, and the CR leaders hated him. The real reason why is simple, he seen past their bullshyt. The CR movement was for jobs and interracial sex. It had nothing to do with actually gaining CR's for black people.

Black elders are like grown children, they been on this earth for many decades and have NO idea what about the world they live in, no grasp on reality. Ask your mom, aunty, granny for advice and this is what you'll get "oh honey child, you just pray to Jesus, amen, yup, just pray" and this is the same advice that's going to turn u into somebody's bytch. And elder black men are flat out pathetic, most of these nikkas still talk like teengers, all they care about is trying to get young p*ssy.

Most of our elders never believed in themselves, and most of them given up on the youth. Alotta old black ppl simply given up on life and their goal is to collect retirement and dip off into the sunset, while leaving us behind in a racist capitalistic system. Great, now we're fighting an invisible bully. Racism exist and nobody is a racist. And we're integrated , so we have so many young blacks in multicultural social circles, who's been brainwashed to believe everybody is equal, while society has waged war against them. This creates confusion. And how can u blame them?

Our elders have been indoctrinated beyond belief, take their advice at your own peril. Your parents might love u, but that don't mean u should listen to them. Examine their life closely and decide if u should listen because if you're black and don't have a unique understanding of your self or this system, then chances are you're going to feel a lot of pain . I've seen it, I got family members that spend their whole life in the ghetto stagnant. Yes, if u don't play chess, you really will just rot in the place that your at currently. I got cousins my age that's finished, they've already given up on life.

Not so much because of the classic cliché 'theyre lazy' but the true reason is much darker. They're defeated mentally, their situation is so bleak they can't even vision themselves being something more. Most black men get celebrated for doing simple shyt like living to 30 , gradating high school, or staying on their children lives. That's pathetic, these are basic requirements of this society. The reason why we get congratulated, is because nobody believes in us.

Our elders don't believe in us, they don't have the answers. Their answer is to vote Democrat and praise white Jesus. Which has been proven to fail over and over again. IMO I don't care what nobody say, black America is in a very divided and docile state. The future is grim, dark times are upon us. Our elders don't give a fukk, they're ready to retire and die, and now we're out here alone at the mercy of the beast. And most of us, don't even know it. Me personally don't see no light at the end of tunnel or any happy ending for black America. Call me a pessimist
the only person you need to believe when it comes to black issues is me
