I tried to. I was never into dragonball z as a kid. I just remember it being crazy popular.
So one day i decided to try watch dragonball first then Dbz. I didint like db but I loved the firsts 3 Dbz sagas.
Everything after that is awful.

It could be better if there wasn't so many filler episodes. Ain't nobody waiting 6 episodes to watch goku transform into a saiyan.Frieza and Cell saga is the best of any and ALL Dragonball related shyt. I'll give you DB over any of the other shyt.

I agree with op. Half these posters probably grew with dbz and never watched db to begin with.
There were no stupid super sayian ten toes ten fingers times 3 power ups in db.
Dbz format is basically all the z fighters take an L. Vegeta thinks he can do something but ends up being embarrassed each time. Which ends up leading to goku finally saving the day.
I mean goku basically saves the day in the original as well but at least other characters matter and have importance where u can actually count on someone.
Kid goku funny as shyt.
The world tournaments got better each time they did them.
