the crazy thing about the melo hate is how many other players havent been to even the second round much less a western conference finals wen the west was the west.

this is a MUCH improved melo in every sense, especially on defense and on the offensive glass.

he gets NO superstar calls unlike queen james or even kd. NONE. even though he takes more contact down low. funniest thing about everything is u can tell who really watches the games cuz nobody gives em props for being a sf abusing 4s on the perimiter and banging down low. on a team thats had to play him copeland and novak at the center. seriously the dudes come into his own and all ppl can talk about is lebron comparisons and efficiency. foh jordan was the king of taking 25+ shots but Kobe Melo and AI all get buried for it.

Imagine a world where a bunch of black men from the block argue over...events like skating or lacrosse. It's almost impossible to fathom. It's outta "White Mans Burden" or some shyt. It's definitely deeper than just his game.

He's without a doubt an under achiever, but the level of criticism he gets is a bit much (though I feel that's the case for most superstar Athletes). Melo somehow manages to get blamed for losing games he doesn't even play in.

I also think there's a lack of perspective going on with that team in general. The Knicks were pretty much irrelevant for nearly a decade but Amare and Melo changed that, yet the vast majority of what they get is hate.

He's underachieved, he's without a doubt a great player, but he hasn't lived up expectations. He was supposed to be on the same level as Wade and Lebron and that simply hasn't been the case, be it from a team or an individual standpoint.

For literally one year Melo was supposed to be as good as lebron. After that second year it was evident Melo wasnt as good as lebron. Lebron threw that comparison in the bushes after the second year. Why do they still compare them.

The expectations for a player who the general nba media leaves out of the top 10 players yearly is pretty ridiculous.

No. The stat I'm referring to is also for individual players minimum of 50 NBA playoff games played. Melo is a selfish, shot chucker who doesn't play defense or make his teammates better and has never won shyt in the NBA.

Why is that racist to state these facts?

there cant be an individual winning percentage, its a team stat period. Melo isnt playing one on one out there
