Melo has played the pf all year. I'm not even comparing the two. I'm just saying dirk shot 20 shots a game 2.4 assists melo 22 shots a game 2.6 assists. One is a selfish ball hog one is not.
And your right dirk is the better player, not now but he was. Ask yourself this when Dirk was at his lowest winning and mvp then losing to an 8 seed I didn't see articles that attack him, like they attack Melo. An melo actually led to ny to its best record in like 20 years.

Dirk's team that year won something like 65-67 games and everybody in they mother knew that Golden State was the worst possible matchup for them. Avery Johnson going small against GS didn't help matters either.
Check the shooting percentage that Dirk shot these years with Melo this year. its not close.

Ok so where is your hate for cp3 ?
