Let's be real...Melo is a one dimensional player who takes bad shots and doesn't make his teammates better. He will never win a championship as a first option. I mean, you can deny if you want, but there is SOME element of race attached to the critiques against so many black athletes. How much is debateable, but you never hear the same amount of vitriol spat at white athletes.
Also, in addition to it being partly racist, the other thing is these guys are making SO much money and there's large groups of racist ppl who cant stand the fact that a (black) guy they feel they are better (smarter, grew up better, etc) than, is making more money they'll ever make and has the adulation of millions of people.

For starters, Melo can be a major ball hog, Alfie from My Brother & Me status with the rock. Depending on what you think of Melo, you can believe he's overrated. Opinions. That's all they are.

Melo isn't a pg his best attribute is his scoring so that's who the offense revolves around . He could be like kd averaging all those turnovers or he can do what he does and play within our system . We use 2 PGs for a reason tre and one of those reasons is to keep turnovers down which is why idk we are able to beat the heat but the turnover prone thunder can't .breen is a hater jvg shut him down already ! Does melo take bad shots ? so does every other scorer but It's only a bad shot when you miss it .is it really about stats when hes getting shytted on for not winning titles in a team game? I think stats would help his case if you used the correct stats not some team stats like playoff win percentage. Dont go after the wrong enemy. whenever I criticize Melo, I criticize him for his abject defense. Offensively it's not aesthetically pleasing to the eye (which pisses some people off), but he gets shyt done. I don't rip him for his offensive skills, so none of what you said was necessary.
