I called it from jump it's going to be a ball movement issue. Too many damn ISO plays not gonna get you far

The basketball they are playing just looks so ugly too

Melo bricking long 2s

George forcing jumpers and fadeaways

Westbrook chucking up 3s and turning the ball over 5-6 times a game

No help from the bench

Adams inconsistent

Not looking good so far at all

this is some hating, op is a hater, I can tell the same shyt about your wizards:

The east looks wack this year, cavs struggling, boston got no hayward, and wizards are only 5-5? Looks like their experiment ain't working :francis:

Yall so desperate for hot nba topics 10 games apparently is enough for yall to see if a newly built team can mesh together :stopitslime: let's see how the okc look around the february if this shyt really ain't working or they looking good

the stats and them barely winning against bum ass teams like pacers shows how terrible new orleans organization is

they were gifted boggie cousins from vivek dumbass. And they can't build anything around those two, it's a shame cause both of them are some incredible talent who dont get the respect their deserve because of not being a contender team

:francis: Scust. Scust. Boy shytted on the pels for the same thing he capping for the thunder for.

And the thunder even more talented

It's early, but the isolation sets for Melo and his long 2s are just disgusting when you combine it with Russ.

PG13 seems like a damn afterthought with them at times.

At times :mjlol:

Unless "at times" means virtually every minute PG is on the floor with 5678 or melo...:mjlol:

The only time I see him look like PG are those few minutes westbrook and melo are on the bench...and as soon as one of them comes in PG might as well be Thabo Sefolosha:mjlol:

Actually surprised there hasn't been more coverage of their early struggles... To me it's more more alarming than the Cavs sucking so far just cause they at least have plausible deniability with the whole "they'll turn it on" and "wait till IT gets back" narratives... Thunder don't have successful playoff runs to fall back on

yeah Melo needs to play the Harden role in this OKC team

Yeah, I don't get the big deal about coming off the bench. Melo would still get his 32 mins a game, he'd still be on the court at the end of the game, all they need him to do is come in and anchor the second unit, provide them with scoring; he'd have a green light to chuck up as many shots as he wants, which he'd enjoy. The starting lineup looks a lot better if it's Russ/Roberson/PG/PP/Adams

Miami's big 3 pushed the pace and emphasized fast breaks off turnovers and getting to the rack to compliment their 2 ball dominant players being elite finishers who didn't have great/consistent outside shooting. Golden State has great offensive schemes, play calling and ball movement, so KD/Steph taking the occasional iso or hero ball shot doesn't hurt them bc everyone knows their role and can get good shots whenever, plus those 2 are elite shooters.

OKC doesn't have great offensive schemes, play calling or ball movement... and their big guns aren't once in a generation finishers or shooters like LBJ/Wade/KD/Steph. Not with Melo being old and PG being whatever he is now post injury. So it's a little harder for them to just out-talent teams like that bear bones d-league supporting cast '11 Heat team could.

So basically they gotta fix the offensive schemes, have more movement, and scale back the hero ball shots, esp those long 2s and pull up 3s early in the shot clock.
