I'd be worrried if they were playing like the Cavs & playing trash defense, just hoping their offense is going to outscore everybody every night. The defense has been pretty good, the offense will get better.

I agree....Westbrook handling point with them two on the wings is horrible.....he doesn't know when to find them and overlooks paul ALOT. Adams gets more looks from Westbrook than Paul Grorge and Carmelo Anthony...........Westbrook is not a pg....he's an extremely athletic sg

Yeah, I don't get the big deal about coming off the bench. Melo would still get his 32 mins a game, he'd still be on the court at the end of the game, all they need him to do is come in and anchor the second unit, provide them with scoring; he'd have a green light to chuck up as many shots as he wants, which he'd enjoy. The starting lineup looks a lot better if it's Russ/Roberson/PG/PP/Adams

Saying those two "can't" score is ridiculous. Steven Adams is a serious threat inside and Patrick Patterson has been hitting over 36% of his threes for eight consecutive seasons, the last three years on a nearly four-a-game clip.

The five players in his hypothetical lineup averaged 20 threes a game last year, so you can't say there ain't enough shooters.

If you're starting two ball-dominant 25+ppg scorers likes Westbrook and PG13, then having an inside threat and an outside shooter should be enough if you are strong on the defensive end. The Cavs won a title just two years ago with TT/Shump, TT/Jefferson, TT/Delly on the floor together for serious stretches of the games.

The celtics are over hyped right now......doing well while other teams are trying to figure themselves out.....not saying they gonna fall off greatly....but they won't be as successful as they are now end of season. Lot of early season hype goin on.

The media was so happy Melo opened his NTC for OKC. They’d been gassing Westbrook all last year and crying how he had no help and now was their chance to prove how smart they were when Thunder roar out the gates.

But then Indiana looks good and OKC struggles and what you hear on all of these shows?

“What’s wrong with the Cavs”

“Will Giannis win MVP?”

“Did Chris Paul make a huge mistake going to Houston”


This is nothing more than these media people downplaying themselves being wrong

Not even remotely close to being the same thing. Not even close. I'm all for letting new teams establish themselves (I was high on this team before the season started, and still hope they put it together), but the flaws are ALARMING, to say the very least.
