There is no wedge that is being created...the disunity is always there. The thing you guys that if black women day nothing then the foundation will be solid. It will appear so, while it continues to crumble from within.Issues that only effect black men or only effect black woman don't exist. There may be issues that effect black women more than black men or vice versa but since we're connected any issue that effects one sex automatically effects the other as well. Whether you're talking rape, sexual abuse, oow pregnancies, or any other socalled woman's issue men are effected as well. How can you think that those issues only effect or concern women?
So did you kick this bullshyt to the black women who stood up and made it clear that police brutality and racism within the justice system doesn't just effect black men? While I don't agree with the chics who tried to use these recent incidents of black men being killed by police as a wedge to divide black men and black women I do agree that it's important that people realize that black women are effected by those issues too. There are no issues that only effect black men or only effect black women. That's the lie that black feminism is built on and that's why it's bullshyt. The only system that oppresses blacks is white supremacy and black feminism serves as a distraction to that.
When a group brings attention to themselves its largely because they are ignored or the concerns are invalidated. That's what y'all don't seem to understand.
