Good examples. Thanks.the whole "men should never hit a woman no matter what" double standard. their argument is that females are weaker but i feel like if we leave them unchecked when they hit a man (remove the consequence) then what is stopping them from being violent towards people? plus they should learn to control their emotions instead of hitting someone stronger than them. if the message is that they can't control their emotions and because of that we need to protect them, them maybe we should also take away their right to vote and have their own bank account since we're already halfway treating them like overgrown children.
another thing is the whole slut shaming thing. i feel like a lot of them want the perceived sexual liberation/freedom men have but at the same time don't want to lose the "lady-mystique" they currently enjoy. because giving that up means they lose certain privileges.
the entitlement is just their belief that i should do everything in my power to make them more comfortable, that i shouldn't look at them in the street if their p*ssy lips are showing in public because it makes them feel uncomfortable and i'm slut-shaming them, that i shouldn't have the right to strike a conversation with them in public because they consider it street harassment, that i owe them protection if they are threatened, etc. it's almost like the whole world should conspire to make them happier.
I feel like the whole hitting thing really isn't a double standard. Hear me out...... I have never heard of anyone actually finding it acceptable to hit a man. It's simply somewhat tolerated. I don't think it's cool for a woman to hit a man. That's a no no. The only hitting I agree with are like love taps. Men are generally stronger then women. Period. That's no lie or exaggeration. Now if people were straight out saying it's fine to hit men than that's where the double standard comes in.
There's double standard when it comes to sex..... But to me that's not an issue that's important enough to be focused on. Because at the end of the day u either care about what people think or u don't.
And if u approach a person the right way u can't be considered to be harassing anyone unless she is just a bytch.
Women get harassed all the time. U know guys aren't just saying hello beautiful can I talk to u for a min.
