This is nothing but a weak copout. If this is how you felt then you should've just ignored me. You illustrated another issue that I have with black feminists, you only listen to shot that you want to hear. You said it yourself, you only want to entertain folk who already agrees with you:pachaha: Then you wonder why non black feminists don't respect your cause or take you seriously. Yea I have my position but I'm not unreasonable. My question was perfectly legitimate and you dodged it on some "bu bu you ain't gon listen anyway" shyt.
You call something crap of the gate, say that you could care less about my opinion refuse to bring up tangible issues you have with feminism that is cited. But yet you are not unreasonable

Good examples. Thanks.

I feel like the whole hitting thing really isn't a double standard. Hear me out...... I have never heard of anyone actually finding it acceptable to hit a man. It's simply somewhat tolerated. I don't think it's cool for a woman to hit a man. That's a no no. The only hitting I agree with are like love taps. Men are generally stronger then women. Period. That's no lie or exaggeration. Now if people were straight out saying it's fine to hit men than that's where the double standard comes in.

There's double standard when it comes to sex..... But to me that's not an issue that's important enough to be focused on. Because at the end of the day u either care about what people think or u don't.

And if u approach a person the right way u can't be considered to be harassing anyone unless she is just a bytch.
Women get harassed all the time. U know guys aren't just saying hello beautiful can I talk to u for a min.
as it is right now, if a woman moves in with me, we have an argument, she hits me continuously and i defend myself by hitting back, she calls the cops, i'm sleeping in jail and she gets to stay in my apartment. if i don't hit her and she calls the cops, i'm the one who gets arrested. if I get hit and call the cops, unless i have solid evidence (video) that she's the one who assaulted me, i'm probably getting arrested. this is a double standard. not only that, it's an institutionalized inequality issue between men and women that feminist organizations will NEVER speak on (eventhough it's supposedly what they are suppose to fight). So yes, like you said, it's tolerated.

as far as the street harassment, i don't think it's cool for women (or anyone for that matter) to walk down the street and be told to "suck cock" or be touched. but remember the pics where two were complaining that a man told them (and i quote)

Can I ask you a question? are you seeing anyone?

now these feminist organizations seriously want to make a law against "street harassment" when there are already laws against assault and harassment. Like i said, they feel like i shouldn't have the right to look at them no matter how they are dressed and i shouldn't have the right to say whatever i want to them. i'll just keep looking and saying whatever i want and see how it plays out :ld:

It honestly isn't but you can believe what you please. You're CLEARLY against feminism. You said feminism is ridiculous, why do you want it explained to you? Seems like you're just looking for an argument. I'm not gonna give it to you.

I said I wasn't a black feminist so why would u ask me a question about it? All of your post are very aggressive like you're angry about something? What's your deal? Ask a feminist your questions.
So you aren't a black feminist but you're posting in support of black feminism in a thread about......black feminism? See what I mean by full of shyt?

I'm not asking you for shyt:heh: I accept your weak ass plea. "you don't agree with me anyway so why should I waste time supporting my opinion/position" :mjlol: Black feminists are typically weak minded and bytchmade. You're all proving my point.

You think that's all it takes to be a feminist? I'm not actively going out trying to make changes. That's like me getting in the pool saving someone one time then calling myself a life guard. :mjlol:

I disagree...there are black female issues like there are black male issues. Men are more incarcerated than women are we going to pretend that black male incarceration isn5 specifically a problem?

Where in my post did I say there aren't issues which affect black males and females separately? I never said those issues don't exist. I didn't even speak on them. I said that black feminism doesn't focus on typical feminist issues; it focuses on black male misandry. To get back to your assertion, there are issues which center more around female/male interests (i.e. tampon versus condom availability), but strictly speaking there isn't an African American issue which does not affect both genders (i.e. if tampons and condoms were restricted from males and females, there would be knock on effects for the group). You posit that African American male incarceration is strictly a male issue, but African American females are undoubtedly affected by African American male incarceration. Communities, churches, employment, economy, are all affected by male incarceration. In the African American population, male incarceration is of more profound importance than any of the so-called imaginary issues you and your black feminist ilk have created to harass and distract people. Men rule the planet and their groups go as far as they do.

I don't see any men addressing the issues that black women face.

Domestic violence :beli:

Molestation/rape:beli:

Lack of coverage when missing. Over 64,000 black women have "disappeared":beli:

True black feminism isn't about the destruction of black men. Stop confusing real feminist with the fake ones. I salute my sisters :salute:

Feminism as a whole is very destructive to men, and the black community in general. I am surprised that a black man(presumably) would champion any feminist cause, when considering feminists- especially those in black America- have made it clear that they feel black men are their main enemies, and the cause of all of their problems.

In black America, feminism has already served its purpose, because it has reached the goals that the elite ruling class originally set for it. We now have black boys abused in the education system, legal system, and in media representation- all of which are now female-centric; male leadership- which is essential to any well-functioning community- has been pretty much eroded; black females(some of whom are non-feminists) burdened with the task of properly running a household alone.

What are some of the results of this?

Black boys who grow up with no sense of leadership, direction or purpose, coupled with black girls who grow up with no idea of what to look for in a man or even how to properly interact with men, which makes them more perceptive to the hyper-masculine black males out there that are the result of non-existent male leadeship.(see thugs).

In knowing all of this, you tell me, friend, is black feminism a good thing or a bad thing?
