The Governor-General of Jamaica represents the Jamaican monarch, and head of state, who holds the title of King or Queen of Jamaica (as of 1952, Queen Elizabeth II).

LaughandDriveAway50Cent.gif

That holds no weight she makes no decision in anything about Jamaica it's 2 separate countries own parliament own currency independent .. Own political parties jlp ( Jamaica labour party) and pnp ( people's national party) we decide on our own laws no one hears about this " queen of Jamaica" Elizabeth she doesn't even come to the island... Oh the prince came this year and said it was his favorite place on earth he isn't a negative @ss hater like you who tries to make others look bad talking about u dont respect Jamaica anymore and posting Queen Elizabeth pics on other board laughing and saying Jamaican food taste like trash and is worse than Spanish countries go suk yuself.. U r either young as hell or just uneducated as hell.. Oh and just to let u know.. U know what independent means? We don't depend on anyone we are a separate entity

I disagree with the premise of this thread....Many all of the top football or basketball players don't elite/track speed....generally speaking fast in football/basketball is a notch below track/sprinter speed...hense some of the fastest football players being on average sprinters..The US has dominated sprints/track for years...Jaimaca has simply caught up with and past us for the track/sprint talent the last few years...

Furthermore while track lags behind football/basketball and several other sports as far as popularity in the mainstream in the US the sport is probably only behind football &basketball as far as being played amongst elite Afro American athletes in prep school/colleginately..I think it's foolish to suggest that any fast basketball or football playr whom excells at their own sport would make better track athletes than what we are putting out there now....Where was this argument before the Jamaicans started dominating sprints and the US held the crown?

yeah..don't get me wrong...I think the Afro American community in general does produce the best athletes in the world bar none...but as of right now i'm unbiased enought to admit Jaimaca the last few years atleast has proven themselves as equals if not superior sprinters...personally i think Jamaica(among other Afro orign nations)always had similar potential as their peers in the US but due to the lack of resources living in the 3rd world were at an disadvantage....Clearly that gap is starting to close as far as track anyway...I wouldn't be suprised to the US altenate with Jamaica for track supremacy in years to come though.

I don't agree with the TS but let's not act like foreigners don't do the same to Americans. Always bragging about how their country is better than the US......but they don't wanna go back and live there. It goes both ways.
When they say their country is better its the (PRIDE). I'm telling you bro coming to America for these nikkas is like royalty. Jamaica is a 3rd world country, its ROUGH down there, i know because i''m half Jamaican and been there plenty of times. Some of my Jamaican friends that i used to hang around with got caught stealing clothes from the mall, they went to jail up here then they got deported. Everyday they call me and there mom crying saying they wish they didn't do what they did because there struggling in Jamaica. Them nikkas used to be FREEEEEEESH, now they look like bums, its sad breh. When you here them say there country is better its the pride, if they had the opportunity to go back and live there, they would shoot and kill that opportunity just to stay in the U.S. But they will not admit it.

Don't worry Jamaicans, these guys are delusional.

Did you know they really think Kobe Bryant is as well known in the UK as David Beckham. I'm dead serious.

They think LeBron James is more known in the UK than Wayne Rooney, seriously.

That's true EVERY country has pride. I deal with you type of Jamaicans everyday with my family and friends, but i quickly shut them up when i ask them why don't you go back and live there? They shut up REAAAL fast. I have no problem with Jamaicans but you guys put on the biggest front. And you guys can be LAME as fukk sometimes breh. And don't act like it ain't true.

I'd guess he's just judging based off of the sample in this thread, i.e. you.
