that's the going rate for a franchise qb.. :manny:

McNabb always taking jabs a people though. I'm glad T.O. called him out in Philly, his fat ass got tired at the end of the super bowl.

Romo got the second most guaranteed money in the history of the NFL. This is a bad contract, precipitated b/c the cowboys where only 51000 over the cap.

The Cowboys have only won 1 playoff game over the last 15 odd years for a reason. And that reason is Jerry Jones. As batshyt crazy that AL Davis was, dude won more in the salary cap era then Jerry. That is saying something...

Marion Barbers contract was bad. Roy Williams contract was bad. Terrance Newman's contract was bad. Romo has played well enough imo. I don't think he's the common denomenator in all of the losing. I think Jerry Jones does overpay to keep his own players but you can look at the money he gave T.O. which turned out to be a good investment initially because he produced. You can also look at him not paying Chris Canty who got big money from the Giants which he didn't deserve.

I will agree that Jerry Jones never handled the salary cap since it was introduced. Even going back to when Jimmy Johnson was coaching, the cowboys did horrible with drafting and signing free agents. They lost a lot of talent like Ken Norton, Russell Maryland etc. The highest QB the cowboys drafted since Aikman was Quincy Carter :snoop:

:whoa: Jimmy could draft. NFL teams to this day, still go off Jimmy's value chart. Jimmy was one of the best talent evaluators. Jerry is the problem.

he didn't build those dallas teams under the current free agent/salary cap system. He also had to lose a lot of high draft picks. The NFL Draft was 5 rounds deeper as well.

I look at what Jimmy did when he went to Miami and it wasn't much. He never drafted another emmitt smith.

Maybe if he would have taken his conditioning more serious, he would have a few rings and a few more millions in the bank, and likely still a career.

Point taken. :ehh:

Dallas reminds me a lot of the Toronto Maple Leafs(besides the Leafs sucking worse). A team that could buy playoff success, but once the a cap was implemented they became shyt. But who gives a fukk, people are still going to come to games and tune in. So nothing is really going to change with said teams :yeshrug:

McNabb is right though. Anyone with a shred of common sense would tell you paying that much for Tony fukking Romo is absurd.

I'm pretty sure Mcnabb was at the house like, "I went to 4 NFC Championships. :wtf: ".

I'd be mad too. The fact that the one win came against him is irrelevant. And I fukks with Romo but $108 mil? :childplease:

cause McNabb is a former athlete he's held to a different standard as a football fan?

so it's okay for someone to complain about a player being overpaid if they ain't in the game!??!?! Hold up! So on ESPN Stephen A and Skip can't comment on players contracts? GTFOH!

why can't mcnabb comment like everyone else?

He's a member of the media now. He's an analyst no difference between him puttin out a tweet and them asking him on nfl am what his thoughts on the contract are. Romo dont deserve that type of scratch and that's the sentiment by people everywhere but Don say it and he's salty/hating :rudy: get the fukk outta here with that bullshyt

If it was Vick or some other less accomplished QB that nikkas like cats would be all like :lawd: but since it's McNabb he's just salty and hating fukk the truth he's spitting :comeon:. Donovan was the same age Romo is now when the Eagles drafted his "heir apparent" in the second round and only a couple years older when he was shipped out for an unproven future bust. Meanwhile at the same age, with nowhere near the level of success despite being surrounded by far more weapons Romo is getting long term extensions. I'm sure that nikka does feel a way about that shyt. Can you blame him? McNabb shoulda been spoke up and called bullshyt, maybe he would still be in the league.

That is the going rate for franchise QBs who have a SB and/or are under 30. This nikka Romo is 33 and goes 8-8 every year. :heh:

Yeah Romo and co. knocked Donovan and co. out ONE YEAR. How many years did Donovan end Romo's season before the playoffs even began?
