Look at this joke of a write up

1. Rodgers had a fumble, which displayed poor pocket management, with 8:39 remaining in the second quarter. That play earned a negative grade.

2. With 12:58 remaining in the third quarter, Rodgers forced a pass that Josh Mauga could and possibly should have been returned for six points for Kansas City. If Mauga makes this interception, it would have tacked an ugly interception onto Rodgers’ stat line.

Punishing him on THEORETOCALS :francis:

I may be in the minority, but I would also dock some of his score (or at least give him no points) for the 'free play's he gets. Let me explain:

Its clear that when he does a hard count (which he is a master of), often times his offensive line also moves- which should lead to a whistle and a offside/NZ flag. However, because its Rodgers, I've noticed that the ref's swallow their whistle and let the play continue
happened at least once last night, and vs seattle as well

He does get more "free plays" than any other QB by far. Thats probably half him half the refs. One thing's for sure if you're a defensive player against GB stay ur ass onsides :damn:

while they should be blown dead, some of em anyways, you cant penalize him for getting huge gains or tds off those plays

I definitely dont blame him. Would be silly to.

But its hard for me to give him credit when he makes a big play out of these blown calls. Because, those plays are essentially gimme's.
he maximized just about every free play this season so far. we saw what alex smith did on his free plays last night. zilch. the free plays pretty much put them in position to win the game vs seattle, as that was just about their entire offense for the first 2.5 quarters

When did PFF become the be all end all? Seems like most writers cite PFF stats.

What do these grades even mean to the average fan? Nothing. PFF works exclusively with NFL teams and provides them several scouting notes. My boy works for PFF and all he does is track players on game film.

These stats are also useful when betting on sports book. The slight nuances of what impact OFF and DEF linemen make when on the field definitely translates well when picking teams against a spread.

Yo bytch bedroom / PITTSBURGH
Aaron Rogers grade this week on PFF: -0.8

Kirk Cousins grade this week on PFF: -0.9

:francis:

You can't tell me if you watched both them games that they played ANYWHERE near the same level. I go on PFF a lot but that shyt makes no sense at all

Their main reason was because 3 of his TDs were bubble screen plays that any competent QB could make, which makes sense because they're trying to dock game manager type QBs. His grade was stupid though, because they're refusing to take into account his pre-snap stuff. Rodgers' performance last night was masterly imo.

If they create a thread with their logic here, they would get the neg train. They gave Tyrod Taylor a 0.3 :wtf:

not really. i dont find much predictive value at all in pff numbers. stuff like off/def efficiency, yards per play, yards per play differential etc are far better in using for predictive purposes

Breh was constantly making plays. Remember that one play where in he was in the endzone, excaped and then threw a comp to James Jones. Gruden was talking about quick quick quick and then Rodgers backed it up like a second later. I was like :damn:
