If you are curious about police officers not actually being officers at all, as I said the Soverign Citizens extensively (and correctly) note that the only law person elected to position (thats what an officer originally was, a person elected to an office) is the Sherrif. All other 'officers' hold no actual office, they are waged hired emoloyees.
