Dude had an impact like Chief Keef had an impact...He was a young dude who came through and crushed the buildings...But so did Nelly and Ja Rule...biggie had a huge impact on hip hop culture, he pretty much birthed the styles of some many new school rappers. He was one of the first nikkas on that balling, fly shyt. He kinda set the bar for the balance between being underground and mainstream and alot more shyt
but im talking about skills right now, im saying pac was more skilled
Who's style did Biggie birth...? I never heard a rapper with Biggie's style except for Shyne and Guerilla Black straight jacking his voice..
Impact is a way to judge a rapper's skill...
I see how Nas changed the game, with Illmatic...Nas SHUT DOWN that 80's Rakim like corny flow when he dropped Illmatic...Every New York rapper after that pretty much had an "Illmatic" influenced flow, for example Rae and Ghost, Prodigy, Killah Sin and pretty much every NY rapper of the 90's...
I see how Snoop changed the game (even though Biggie is far better than Snoop), but every West Coast G-Funk rapper had a "Snoop Doggy Dogg" influenced flow...
I see how Eminem changed the game (even though I would rather listen to Biggie than Eminem)...Pretty much every so called lyricist of today has a Marshal Mathers LP influenced flow in some form or another....
Biggie was nice, but he didn't have enough time to impact hip hop culture in a significant and lasting way...
Biggie should not be mentioned with 2Pac, Nas, Jay Z, Eminem, 50 Cent (although Biggie would have had more success than 50)...
