I listen to the weak BIG songs like Nasty Boy and :mindblown: at how many lyrics of his, flows etc were jacked. It's unreal. You can pick a biggie song at random and find lyrics that were used/sampled/stolen by another rapper.

While Tupac has like 10,000 songs and like 5 quoteables :snoop:

That's cuz PAC didn't spit random ass punchlines that can just be placed on any song. He had a more complex style and its harder to emulate.

So many battlefield scars while driven in plush cars
This life as a rap star is nothin without heart
Was born rough and rugged, addressin the mad public
My attitude was, "fukk it," cause motherfukkers love it
To be a soldier, must maintain composure at ease
Though life is complicated, only what you make it to be
Uhh, and my ambitions as a ridah to catch her
while she hot, and horny, go up inside her
Then I spit some game in her ear, "Go to the tele hoe"
Equipped with money and a Benz, cause bytch I'm barely broke
I'm smokin bomb-ass weed feelin crucial
From player to player, the game's tight, the feeling's mutual
From hustlin and prayers, to breakin motherfukkers to pay-up
I got no time for these bytches, cause these hoes tried to play us
I'm on a meal-ticket mission, want a mil', so I'm wishin
Competition got me ripped, on that bullshyt they stressin (boo-yaa!)
I'ma rhyme though, clown hoes like it's manditory
No guts no glory my nikka bytch got the game distorted
Now it's on and it's on because I said so
Can't trust a bytch in the bidness so I got with Death Row
Now these money hungry bytches gettin suspicious
Started plottin and plannin on schemes, to come and trick us
But Thug nikkaz be on point and game tight (yeah)
Me, Syke and Bogart, wrap it up the same night
Got problems then handle it, motherfukkers see me
These nikkaz is jealous cause deep in they heart they wanna be me
Uhh, yeah, and now ya got me right beside ya
Hopin you listen I catch you payin attention
to my amibitions as a ridah

pac is a better lyricist to me then biggie imo

That's a valid opinion, there both great so isn't really no right or wrong answer. I think Biggie was a great lyricist though, as was Pac. Biggie had a crazy rhythm/flow too, that's one of the most impressive things about him to me, along with the voice, Pac had the ill chant like flow at times to and energy that was ill.

Biggie was more lyrical than PAC imo, PAC was definitely more versatile though. It does neither one justice comparing the two. The both had their strengths in different areas.

The thing about music as well is that the lyrics were made to be heard not rapped, BIggie excelled in his delivery, one of the best of all time in that aspect in my opinion.

Just my opinion with his word play etc..I don't consider PAC that lyrical but I do however prefer listening to Tupac nowadays. It's clearly a subjective topic. It's not like I went and said Lil B is more lyrical than PAC. Like i said earlier, it does no justice comparing the two.

Yet we're always told about pacs influence...Basically you just summed it up. nikkas only emulate Pacs image, they emulate Bigs lyrics.
