idk what the jay elect stans are thinking when they got to shyt on killah priest of all people to big up jay, jay is influenced by KP. thats a fact.

shytting on priest aint gonna make your argument stronger. if anything it just makes you look dumber as priest is a GREAT MC. in a diff league than most rappers. jay electronica is a good rapper too. but the fact is he lives the opposite life his raps put across and he dont drop shyt. aint like he dont got any duds too.

a battle would prove that priest ain't fukkin with timothy. all this 'he birthed his style' shyt is what annoys me. how can you birth a nikka style and the nikka be nicer than you. ok priest was down with the wu which is one of my favorite groups of all time and IS a good MC but still.... he is not seeing jay electronica's bars. i still have yet to hear a song topping any of the ones in my original post

Electronica is not nicer than Priest. Heavy Mental the album is better than anything Electronica can conjure up and I like electronica. Put it this way, I listen to Jay E when there is no new KP to listen to.

KP is overrated imo. Not saying he's wack, but as far as skills go I honestly can't put him on the same level as Jay Electronica. There was never a KP song, album or verse that blew my mind the way some of Jay Elect's shyt has. I agree Jay still has a far ways to go before being considered a legend, but that doesn't mean the shyt he has dropped wasn't legendary. Marketing money has shyt to do with skills. I keep telling you cats to focus on the poetry. To say Jay would be a second string killa bee is what's mind boggling to me :sadcam:
