Quick question can you tell me why a Kiwi would hate Australia ?
My boy from NZ thinks very poorly of the culture compared to America. Is there a certain type of nikka that thrive in the outback more than another?

Plus Australia doesn't have a legacy of slavery like the U.S. does, in fact Whites were the slaves there if anything.
I'm wondering what my chances are transitioning there smoothly and being able to stat long without facing more discrimination than I would face than in a predominantly Asian country.

If you're considering Australia just ensure it's one of the major cities with high standards of living and generally more liberal minded people (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra). You'll find racists and bigots just like anywhere but overall it seems to be one of the most ideal options for you. Unless I'm mistaken there's more ethnic diversity in these places than many Asian countries (travelling around the Melbourne CBD it's like 1/2 comprised of people of an Asian background lol).

Personally I wouldn't venture out to the outback or other areas in Australia. And don't move to a State like Queensland
We have a Federal election coming up in July, I guess you could use that as a barometer for the overall views of Australians depending on which Party wins.

Think about it this way. American blacks are the only Westerners Asians trust to handle their foreign interest. Want proof? China has an open door policy with Africans specifically so they can get educated, learn chinese, and then help represent China in foreign nations. They also stay in China to educate the populace in English.
While white america may want us to believe everyone hates blacks, they always gloss over the fact every DESPISES whites.
