Do female COs openly flirt with inmates, like in front of other COs/prisoners?
yea i almost quit saturday
theres's this old guy named jesse black bout 50/60 i'm 6'5 260 jesse my height built like snoop. Jesse thinks he's the former heavyweight champ of the world and wants me to be his driver to take him to vegas when he gets out(doing life no parole) but i humor him, call him champ, tell him we getting drunk and fukkin white bytches. he laughs. but saturday champ tried to end his life by hanging himself. so the first time he didn't succeed and i came in his cell and stopped him we waiting for the nurse and he talks to me in the rare time he's not in lala land" c/o i like you, you good to the champ, you talk to the champ, don't come in here anymore i have aids"
so when i go to get the nurse he tries again by jumpin off the sink and trying to snap his neck with his bed sheet. i catch him before he swings and snaps his shyt and he starts crying and yelling " let me die, why don't you let me die"
i legit felt bad for the man
I stayed with fresh DOCs and cellphones and little shyt like cans of airfreshner or McDonalds when I was in the county from these two chicks. shyt was dead when I took my time. Aint nothig but country ass hoes in the joint but in the city/county, they have a few scrags considering the situation.Sometimes it's rare tho job on the line, they find other ways to interact with the inmate if they're interested in them
@nawlinsnfinest a few questions...
What is the library and internet access like for those in gp?
How do you feel about tv shows filming there and profiting off of providing voyeuristic shyt for the public to watch punishment in action?
Whats the wildest escape (attempt) that you have seen?
If you could name one thing that would help prepare imprisoned people prepare to come back into the larger society, what would it be?
I read this thread and its interesting. It made me think about my job working at an university. They are both industrial complexes, just on the extremes of the spectrum.

I think you could; it would be interesting to see your answers versus his. But shyt, I would like to ask you a few questions if thats cool...Library is only accessed three times a day,you can either go to yard, library, etc when the time comes for those activities.
All those other questions @nawlinsnfinest will have to answer from his POV as a correctional Officer,I was just a prisoner so I don't think I could answer your other questions

Are repeat offenders treated different? Maybe a better question, how is freedom viewed? I had some folks who always stayed in and out on various bids, and we always wondered why they just couldn't stay out, but i also wonder how about how they are perceived in prison.
Are people who don't get commissary able to get by?
how hard is it to get a degree in there ?
thanks for answering breh.Repeat offenders treated differently by whom? The prisoners or guards?
Freedom is viewed as freedom, shyt don't nobody wanna be in prison, but you got some cats who are institutionalized and have no problem going in and out of prison. It's like they would love to be home and if they go home they wouldn't mind staying home, but they also don't mind going back to prison either.
Yes people who don't get alot of commissary survive but is hard. You get 3 meals a day and sometimes more if you can steal a tray,or get extra food, but it's nothing like having commissary, the jobs in there don't pay at all,I got 15.84 a month lol yes you read that right,so you need outside support to be comfortable in there.
A degree I wouldn't say it's hard I mean I didn't get one so I can't speak on that, but some cats got a whole lot of time on they hands so I would imagine it isn't hard, but factor in the noise and living conditions then it might be.
nah i'm transferring to the sheriff dept its more money less hours better benefitsDo you have a plan for finding a new job or do you love it there and plan on working there till your 80.
