nikkas always talk that shyt,and I'm not gon lie I use to feel prison was too harsh for anyone,but sad to say when I was there,man some nikkas shouldn't be anywhere but prison real shyt,it's some serious head cases in there

maybe in one of those 3rd world shyt hole prisons in say Mexico or any random Latin American country but even the most poweful prison inmates in the US fall in line/submit to Boss/CO authority or else



the petty criminality enterprise convicts are able to operate in prison are because they are allowed to by corrupt guards (whom likely getting a cut if not running the racket themselves )not because inmates are bosses above the law whom run the institution

1 and 3 bruh you have no idea, inmates outnumber us sometimes 70 or more to 1. yea there is strikeforce,etc but in the end, you have to get along with each other. and there are inmates that have co's,nurses, and higher ups doing them favors. there are people in prison that can literally buy your life. we got one dude they call boom boom, and he got into it with a co on his way to dialysis,told the co his life meant nothing to him. long story short, the co had people waiting on him in the parking lot.

2 yes an inmate was crushed to death during an escape attempt

4 depending on your shift, you may be there for 16 hours. i got lucky and got first but all that means is i'm there from 530 am to 10 pm

again, some dudes don't understand the outside world i completely agree with you. we had a white boy called squirrel, squirrel whole family locked up. they family ran this meth ring and got busted. mom, pops, uncles, and him. squirrel got out last week and he told the board before he left, look crime is all i know and my family is back behind the walls, i'll be back before year is out.

but like @Originalgangsta317 said, there are cos that be on that bs and wanna go head up.my sgt. today tried to prove a point by confiscating a max life inmates belongings because he failed cell inspection(which is stupid imo because they on 23/1 where the fukk are they going) anyway, they go back and forth and my sgt decides to pop the door. wasn't expecting dude to rush the door swinging, sure nuff dude threw that 1 hitta quitta,he barely missed but fell on top of my sgt. 2 things here, 1 you never open a door without cuffing an inmate 2 if you gone open the door atleast tell your fellow officers, so back to the story the inmate lands on top of my sgt. i rush and grab the inmate off of him not knowing his hands was inside sarge's vest, so when i grabbed him, the inmate's weight and my sgt weight went dead into my knee and slammed it into the ground.chipped a bone in my knee and did ligament damage. i was so pissed i tried to break dude arm. my partner bytch ass said he didn't know what to do so he just watched and my sgt was just laying there next to him.dudes need to understand that rank don't mean shyt to a man that has double life

bruh we got that in tn as well, the problem is mfs implement shyt in prisons but don't have to deal with them on a daily basis. somethings are unnecessary and cause issues between inmates and staff.

Damn that's fukked up breh,but I never understood why them a$$hole CO's be trying inmates,like this one cat used to tell CO's straight up "you wouldn't talk to me like this on the other side of the fence,so talk to me as if we are on the other side of the fence"

i talk to them like hood dudes, like we on the outside.

a typical convo will be them askin what female co or nurse i'm smashing to whats poppin the streets,etc.

just like today after that fight happened with the inmate, he told the warden that my sgt was in the wrong, he wasn't even mad at me for cranking his arm. then some punk ass other inmate got involved and the rest of the pod told him he'd get handled for telling the warden what happened. what happens in house stays in house, thats how we've always handled things
