well finally had enough,got burned out and quit. the corruption is at an all time high at my prison and come to find out it has top 5 turnover rate in the country among prisons.
plus having to deal with shyt like this on an everyday basis was too much. these are self inflicted wounds and these dudes survived. this happens at least once a week there.the warden is a powder head thats being investigated by tbi but it doesn't matter much. i knew it was time to quit when i got sent to counseling for anger and ptsd. i had an inmate threaten to send people after me and i lost it. long story short cell phones are big in prisons and one inmate actually sent someone after an officer. so when he said it i lost my shyt. i told him i was gone lose my job for what i would do to him,then look up his file and find his mother's address and call the unit so he can hear her beg for her life. yep straight to the warden's office. we've had too many officers get set up because they owe debts to inmates.
