No doubt he's had a helping hand getting to where he's at big time. But I will say this, privilege or no privilege he's really into that coaching shyt and football life 24/7/365 with a passion. I think that's what really gets him over. He's got that crazed psycho coaching look like John Gruden. Outside of a few games his teams are pretty much always prepared and ready to play

Talent on the Rams?

Donald was really the only good thing about the Rams prior to Mcvay taking over

Goff was being considered a bust after how AWFUL his rookie season was

Gurley had a nice rookie season but his sophomore season was bad and people were ready to write him off

The Rams were 4-12 the season before he took over and had never even been .500 during the seasons Jeff Fisher coached

In only his second season Mcvay took the Rams to the Superbowl and yeah he did get out coached....but by the greatest coach of all time

If you want to talk about nepotism regarding Mcvay's hiring that's fine but all your other points are hogwash

You can make an argument he is the most underrated SB winning coach in the league. They should be in salary cap hell but they just built through the draft and glided over it. He's Kyle Shanahan without the ego. Remember when he first came in the league he basically hired Wade Phillips a man with 45 years of experience at the time who basically mentored him on head coaching.

Probably second after Reid. Only other names I'd consider there are Payton, Jim Harbaugh, or Demeco. That's probably my Top 5, and McVay is #2...

They allowed themselves to go thru a rebuild year after winning the Super Bowl, and he has them immediately back in the playoffs last year, and back to the Divisionals this year. He's an outstanding offensive mind, play caller, and he works hand in hand with his GM in constructing the kind of team he wants...

He's had moments that have cost him (last year vs Detroit, getting outcoached bad by Belichick in the '18 Super Bowl), but all coaches have bad moments. He's generally a great situational coach and he tailors his scheme to fit the opponent of the week...

He's been to two Super Bowls (1-1) and two NFC Championships (2-0), next week game better not come down to the coaches having to make a big decision. Because I'm taking McVay easily over Sirianni...

Also he's only been head coach for 8 years and look at his tree. He gets a lot of mf's jobs...

Nobody can fix Anthony Richardson.
He couldn't throw in college.
He can't throw in the NFL.

You either have accuracy or you don't. And Anthony Richardson doesn't have it.

Anybody coaching him has to be comfortable designing a solid 10-14 rushing attempts per game because he's never going to sit back there and pick defenses apart.

Ain't gonna happen. Ever.

Yeah he's done great especially with later round picks. No Aaron Donald and their pass rush actually seems better this year than last year.
