Why would you show them any of the things you mentioned? Credit check is it.

How do I find a renter with sensible requirements?

You mentioned that you were in PG county (I'm assuming Prince George Maryland). I'm thinking of moving there next year since I heard it's a haven for professional higher income black people (is this even true?). Like Atlanta but without the trannies. So you were able to get an apartment with just a credit check? No blood tests? Anal cavity search? Polygraph?
