Yeah have all of that stuff cause serioysly landlords are extremely picky and they shouldnt be.

And looking back on this thread is honestly why I moved out to Denver. I got a 1 bedroom apartment in a building with an elevator for 1150 a month...i know people back in NYC paying that much for a room.

:wow:

Im not saying its unobtainable but it kind of aint even worth it anymore...

I don't mind the other stuff but bank statement is where I draw the line.

Yea NYC is trash. But I have to stay here a little while longer. Hopefully I can move to Atlanta or Florida in 6 months or something.

Won’t say what city

Makes sense your house is new.

Most old homes have smaller rooms or have lots of rooms in a big space.

In most cities you travel too old homes are either smaller or have a lot of smaller rooms in a big space.

DJ envy spoke about this when speaking on Detroit real estate.

Looking for an apartment in Brooklyn. Do I HAVE to show the landlord my bank statements? You would think pay stubs, tax returns, W2s, background check, credit check, photo ID and social security should all be enough.
Why would you show them any of the things you mentioned? Credit check is it.

Money to avoid jail time? You get evicted in court proceedings only if you have no money and way of making payments. That takes at least 6 months.
