I hate when people say racism is geographically exclusive to the south (I didn't want to make this thread turn into another race thread BTW)
New York City can be just as racist, if not more sometimes, than your regular old midwestern or southern state.
Especially with all them uber rich/wealthy white people in Manhattan.
I legit get the vibe from them that they want Manhattan island (hell, all five boroughs really) to be like Elysium
Only for the elite.
To me, they look at poor black and spanish people as if they were diseased and needed to be quarantined and seperated from the populace.
And this city, for all its diversity, is home to the MOSt segeregated school system in the country.
With that said, let's not derail tmy thread with this. We can save this discussion for another time.
Just to add, I know history, one of the largest plantations in the country was in Brooklyn.
