A lot of people are also forced to live in NYC, and they're part of the inflated cost of housing :wow:
If you want BigLaw, you may be stuck in NYC for 3-5 years minimum, and after working 80 hours/week making mid-six figures, you're going to want a nice place, same for a whole lot of investment bankers, hedge fund managers, advertising managers, etc. :snoop:
I may end up stuck there until I can lateral back to Cleveland, Atlanta, or DC :snoop:
You're from Ohio originally right?

If you can lateral to Cleaveland you'll be balling :whoo:

Home Prices in North Carolina
According to Zillow, the median sale price in North Carolina is $175,600. That’s the average across all properties. One-bedroom homes have an average price of $108,000. Two-bedroom homes have a median sale price of $120,000. Need three bedrooms? Expect to pay around $163,000. Four-bedroom homes go for an average of $273,000.

Prices vary by city, however. In Fayetteville the median sale price across all properties is $120,700. In Cary, it’s $278,150. In Charlotte, homes sell for an average of $188,300. The median sale price in Raleigh is $213,800. In Greensboro, it’s just $140,125. Winston-Salem? $130,150. Homes in Durham have a median sale price of $170,300.

I wanted to show the rest of the board you are making up facts with nothing to validate them. Show me a link to all these trifling spots? I mean if you want to pull some stats on a hick town nobody fukks with then go ahead. Show me a city with a population of 250K or higher in this state doing bad.

Yup. Jones Day and Baker Hostetler pay market; that $160k base + bonus will go a hell of a lot further here, where a 3-4 bedroom house goes for $60k, than it will in Manhattan :ehh:
