completely right about pollock
the thing about him was he brought masculinity in his art at a time where america was re-establishing gender roles. this is a main reason why people were on his dikk. he is praised for his shift of focus to the action of painting, which is bullshyt imo. not because the idea is not valid, but because he wasn't the first and didn't do it well enough.
warhol's art is trash, as well as his philosophy. he basically wanted everything to be mediocre and replicable. he wanted everyone to like everything, and no one to be better or more praised than anyone else. influenced by the rise of commodification in his period, but nothing profound in his self-proclaimed talentless shyt. famous cause he was weird looking, gay, and gave weird interviews
nothing really bad to say about basquiat though... and definitely not picasso.
