What is your thought process behind making songs? hooks/chorus?
What is your thought process behind putting together an album?
What is your thought process behind beat selection?

my thought process is before making an album, we have to create demand. c-styles mistake was putting out all these albums and mixtapes without serious demand for his work. he DOES have a small fanbase and quite a few soundcloud/faceebook likes, a few thousand people follow him on social networks. But he has no single to attach himself to that people know him for.

my goal was to get him a catchy single and a street single showcasing just him and another one where he has a singer.

My thought process was matching him up with production i felt he would thrive on and getting to know him as an artist and where i feel hes comfortable.

one of the beats i pulled off my next album and gave to him. Keep in mind, Chicago Styles is his new name, and unlike these other nikkas he actually INVESTED in his career, in other words he fully compensated me for my work and in return i hooked him up with a couple industry engineers and marketing specialists and were working on trying to get one of his songs tin particular to chart. In other words, for the next year well mostly only be promoting these two singles and at the end of the summer a fully produced ep will likely release, so basically 8 songs for the next year is the focus, not entire albums with 18 songs going in too many directions.

This is basically me using my industry experience to enhance his career, regardless of what his rep might be on here, with me producing and excecutive producing everything, perceptions can change and artists can grow. Im out to prove i can take someone as hated as c-styles and make him legit, even if yall dont like his voice or whatever, at the very least hell earn the respect of putting a legit musical effort under my watch.

I like it. Coming in and generating buzz off of pure hate and flipping it.

Goes to show all you "real" MCs who have "skills" how to make it.

Speaks volumes that one could scoop up what others considered to be one of the worst artists and push him. Kinda means that there is pretty much no value in actually being able to Rap, no?

I for one will be glad when Hip Hop is Jazz status and off the Pop radar. THEN only those that LOVE Hip Hop will fukk with it and the hustlers will hop on the new bandwagon.

Pretending She-Stylez wasn't full of shyt on his whole "I own my own business" shyt, I immediately assumed you were compensated handsomely Cole James. Cant knock that hustle. but Let me know when you start fukking with horrible Internet artists for free, because anyone can be hidden behind good production with technology and a great engineer :steviej:

Without hearing the finished product, I'm willing to bet you could sub out Chi-Styles with anyone from The Coli and it would sound equally as good....

I dont know how to tell yall this, but C-Styles is now under my mentoring now as he has been over the last month.

I am producing his entire next project and his next two singles.
One of the songs i co-wrote with him.

if yall ever fukked with my music then you know hes about to do a major 180.

Next week im gonna debut his two new singles since hookin up with me.

His name is Chicago Styles now. No more bullshyt ass edm tracks, no more garbage polluting the coli, strictly shyt produced and approved by me.
