I like it. Coming in and generating buzz off of pure hate and flipping it.

Goes to show all you "real" MCs who have "skills" how to make it.

Speaks volumes that one could scoop up what others considered to be one of the worst artists and push him. Kinda means that there is pretty much no value in actually being able to Rap, no?

I for one will be glad when Hip Hop is Jazz status and off the Pop radar. THEN only those that LOVE Hip Hop will fukk with it and the hustlers will hop on the new bandwagon.

if alot of these "real" mc had half the fukking work ethic of chicago styles, id bea millionaire right now.

believe it or not, some of the dopest mcs the coli has, ihave reached out to them. two of them flat out rejected my beats, one of them unfortunately we can never connect even though i got much love for them, waiting for 6 months for one verse is tough. With them i didint even ask for any money or compensation.

Hard work to me after 8 years of this shyt is more valuable than talent. Some of the most talented and most gifted mcs in real life that i have dealt with have been lazy as fukk.

At least this nikka chicago styles

1. Paid me on time
2. follow directions to the T on what hes supposed to do
3. Takes constructive criticism
4. No arguments about bringing the price down
5. Takes his career serious enough to get in the studio and record shyt asap

id rather have someone who trusts my leadership and understands that sometimes you have to put your ego aside and let a nikka use his industry experience to try to help.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I actually take this approach with my femsles now that I'm older.

Obviously I am one of those lyrical geniuses that never got any shine.. I am lazy than a motherfukker too.

Aiight. Carry on.

If Cole Cash pulls this off a bunch of you better line his pockets up with some money to jump start your shyt.

I have 0 problems with C-Styles but he just doesn't have it. I've listened to his music objectively and seen some of his 'day in the life' youtube videos, it just isn't there.

My producer pays other producers to make beats for him and then takes credit for it :manny: . . you seem to be taking more of a 'hands on approach' :mjpls:

It's gonna be an anticipointment :troll:

When the time comes, I'll support the music but this isn't the way to go about presenting a product. Right now with the position that Mr. Cash is playing he should be willing to take responsibility for the success or failure of this project.

I like C-Styles, and I like Cole Cash

I also see potential in both of their music and I'm not going to rank one above the other, but I can't support the way they're going about this. If dude would've said, expect a C-Styles/Cole Cash collab . . we'd be  off the mystery of such a strange combination but to just be grandstanding and posturing yourself to take all the credit for the direction before it's even out is not only egotistical but it's unprofessional. There's no need to belittle the input of the artist. Ya, these records wouldn't happen without you but you also need to accept that they wouldn't happen without him either. If you feel comfortable taking full credit for delivering the gameplan, that's fine . . but it's still @C-Styles that has to execute. If you need to jump up and down from the highest platform you can find to say you're the leader of this project to feel more professional about yourself great . . but if the project fails be ready to hold yourself accountable

im fully responsible for any failure of any project with my name on it, i dont get what youre trying to say here. I am not bellittling him by any means. But on the other hand, me controlling the direction of the music is what i told him id do and its what hes allowing me to do. You want me to lie and say i enjoyed his back catelogue? i didnt, but i saw he was a hard worker and could use a hand in the direction of his music. if it turns out yall think its garbage, than thats on me. I think you are overthinking this.

That's respectable . . but maybe you should be letting the music speak for itself because you have the talent to do that. Others don't and they will need to explain their involvement but with your production style it'd be hard to imagine you two delivering a project with your work not being an integral driving force for the projects overall soundscape and direction. All I'm saying is let the music do the talking.

But most importantly I'm just proliferating the discussion :manny:
