Then that wasn't love. They just thought it was.

I said that for a reason. I have had a person provide motherly love/ raise me since I was 4 and then outta nowhere poof pow, they bushed me. Haven't spoken to her in over 3 years. Before you ask, I have no idea what sparked it.

To your point, despite the 30 year plus relationship, it may have always been a conditional love.:ohhh:

Ok. You cant say, "I love my parents unconditionally....but only under these conditions..."

You either do, or you dont. You cant change the definition of "unconditional" so it fits your narrative.

I can probably only love my kids unconditionally. If one of them turns into a serial killer or some shyt..I would have to love them from afar...but :yeshrug: imma still ride w/ em.
I never said only if though, I said unconditional love stems from trust. I love my parents unconditionally because I trust they won't do anything vile to me but even if they did I'd still love them. I don't know how else to explain it.

I didn't ignore your whole post, I just didn't disagree with everything you said. I know you were talking about being in a relationship and so was I. You can love someone that you were involved with and NOT be with that person. Happens all the time breh.

ok i hear you but yes and you can love a person and not be with them but that would be could be conditional also cause best believe steal something from that person and see how they view you or better yet let that person steal from you would you still love them unconditionally
