"without me rap is just a bunch of orphans
but if i stayed in this shyt it's a bunch of corpses" -...................................................anthony palman :heh:

but u gotta understand, drake is literally signed to motown. that's an organization known for its dispersion of responsibilities in order to create a fluid image.

rap came to break that down, cause the model was getting too pretentious. that doesn't mean the model was completely broken.

rap fed too much into the american rags to riches fallacy, which is based on the notion that a person can do it all by themselves.

no small loan of a million dollars needed.

music is a collaborative effort. yeah, u can do it in a room by yourself, but connecting with people is an inevitable must.

call drake an industry plant. but you can't say he is talentless. plenty of industry plants fall flat. ask tinashe. success is not guaranteed no matter what.:manny:

Meek removed him from the Hip Hop category. Now that he can't have that he's hoping the Grammy's put his music into strictly the pop category. But he doesn't have timeless music like a Michael Jackson or Prince. He can't sing and he needs help rapping.

He has all these millions but he won't be remembered 30 years from now in pop nor hip hop. Meek exposing him clearly still bothers him to this day.

Unrelated but I love how fat boy Officer Ricky was talking all that shyt on NORE's podcast when asked about Drake.. Then proceeded by apologizing for his lil homie's action on his album in search for being in the good grace of the 6 God once again - only for Drake to son, disrespect and destroy Ross on Can't Have Everything while fukking up Ross release date

I'm probably one of the few people who can enjoy his music without being delusional about it

No one's gonna convince me to stop enjoying the music

But I ain't gonna be out here championing Drake as the king of this shyt like I used to back in the day

I feel alot of people feel this way but the only thing people see is his stans

He has plenty regular fans who lost respect and don't connect to the music as much as before but still enjoy it nonetheless
