Did they smell strange? I might be generalizing but I associate strange and bad odors with gothic alternative types. They often try to hide it with perfume, but it doesn't work.

Edit post: part of it may be they wear the same clothes over and over again. Summertime with big black boots.

She wore Vans, but I never got the courage to talk to her. Sat beside me once at the table and I got nervous. Also, naw she didn't smell.
