Truth to the OP's take. Makeup did wonders for girls back then too oh and dudes going through puberty. In hindsight its amazing how many fell off and the ones that we didn't notice turned out beautiful in the long run. The irony in the long run is all the fly ones in HS had a kid or two not long after graduation. Glad I wasn't the poor sucker who seeded in them.
