if I missed SNICK... shyt would ruin the rest of my weekend...

And, when moms got Cable in 96, and I discovered Snick
, it was equivalent to accidentallly finding the Spice Channel for the first time
We 90s kid is the last GOAT generation
too bad it never stuck
i have never heard of this show before.
i see it has my gawdess Jurnee Smollett tho.
how da fukk they get the whole family on tho? im bout to see if I can watch some old episodes on youtube or somethin

I was thinking the same thing. They had the entire Smollett family on that show. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Yo Jurnee is the exact same age as me. I used to watch that show just to see her. Childhood Crush.![]()
Old people watched that shyt too, that's the demo they wanted though. Also back then 15 and 16 year olds still stayed in the house. Sounds strange now but times were much different then.
Yeah, maybe it was for the best. shyt was wild hectic back in the days. Crazy how much quality programming the 90s had.
Dude, I was JUST thinking about that. Maybe one of the reasons they had that programming built like that was to keep a lot of people off the streets since a lot of major cities were like the wild wild west at the time
shyt was amazing back then cause tgif and them sat night shows did numbers all across the board and was rackin up some of the highest ratings for the stations.................... now that shyt is where u send tv shows to die so networks can say that nobody's watching the show and give it that swift cancellation
It curbed crime and produced mad classics at the same time. Thing is, when the mid 00s came around and reality TV was common, more people went outside again since shyt got cleaned up. TGIF was piff back in the day and it made Friday nights worth watching.
something like TGIF COULD come back once millennials across the board start raising families and hit their 30s. TGIF really thrived because baby boomers were of the age where they were raising families, buying houses and growing up and generation x happened to tune in too
