One of the GOAT playoff runs breh:jawalrus:

33/10/4.2 on 53% shooting

Beat the 4 best teams in the NBA that year on the road in the playoffs back to back to back.
1st rd- Beats 60 win Jazz team, Averages 35 on 57%, and drops 40 to save them from elimination
2nd rd- beat 59 win Charles and KJ suns teams and comes back from down 3-1 series lead and drops 30/12/6 in the last 3 games
3rd rd- we all know this story, dominates a frontcourt of MVP Drob and Prime Dennis rodman, drops 40 3 times and 39/17/5 in the close out game. Overall 35 on 56%
Finals- Sweeps the shaq/penny magic, outscoring shaq in every single game while dropping 35/15 on his head in the close out game

Looking at Competition and His overall play, it stacks up against anyone :obama:

Hakeem all day... but smh @ barkley..

That Game Four when Hakeem scored 35, he hit a three at the end and scored some junk points.

All I know is that I recorded every game of that run knowing coming in the Hakeem was on a mission.

The funniest part of the start of the Spurs series was Hakeem sitting from the bench, watching D-Rob hoisting the MVP trophy he thought he deserved....tying his sneakers and had this slick ass smile. You knew the beating was coming.....you knew it.

60% fg from Shaq
:wow:

Shaq's game is mostly dunks and layups so he's always going to have a high FG%. I'm not taking anything away from him because he played well

But he had Homecourt advantage, the 2nd best Defensive 4 in the game at the time in Horace Grant and All NBA 1st team Penny Hardaway who averaged 25 on 50% In that series and still got swept.

And got out scored every single game by Olajuwon

He was PERFECT player, dude had no flaws in his game.

And had the GOAT postgame

Yep, dude had no weaknesses in his game. People don't realize that hakeem was in the decline of his prime when they won the 2 chips. '89-93 (h)akeem was a bulldog on the block with the crazy skillset. To understand how good hakeem was, dude was on the all 80's team on the nba live that came out years ago. Dude's defense was iron curtain status. If hakeem had a legit number 2 for most of his career, he would have been collecting rings.
