i like kahwii leonard, but he's not the type of player that will go off at any moment and drop 45/15/10 on you in an important playoff game like lebron does

I'm waiting for him to have a series where he completely takes over :yeshrug:

it's just starting brehs. nikka dropped 37/11 and 43/8 already in the playoffs this year. he will only get better. remember this nikka only 25

Compare the sample size of a 25-year-old's postseason struggles to a player who's failed in the playoffs consistently for the last decade brehs. :mjlol:

CP3 was shyttin the bed in the NBA playoffs when Kawhi was in his freshman year. :mjlol:

Call making the finals six years in a row and winning the most titles in a decade consistently failing in the playoffs brehs.

And Bron was averaging nearly 30ppg on close to 60% shooting and 50% from three against the Spurs in 2014. :mjlol:

Kawhi wasn't 2017 Kawhi yet back in 2014. He was a great defender already, but he did NOT shut Lebron down. The Spurs won because they were working the ball on offense every possession and Heat were too old/hurt to guard shyt. (start 38yo Ray, 34yo Rashaad, and an injured Wade in the same game brehs) Duncan or TP could have been named Finals MVP just as easily as Kawhi, Ginobli wasn't far behind, and even Danny Green and Patty were hitting everything.

Lebron left Miami because his team still didn't have a real center or a point guard and it looked like Wade was done. Not because a Spurs team that was also about to age out had him shook.
Lebron inflated his stats during garbage time when the games were already decided by a large margin. Stats can be very deceiving if you don't watch the games.

But Lebron is expected to be the best player in the world, and win championships while Kawhi on the other hand is not.If the spurs win 0 championships for the rest of Kawhi's career, nobody would complain. If Kawhi averages 20p/5r/3a for the rest of his career,he won't get vilified by the media.Kawhi, gets the same overrated treatment as Curry. When a drafted player outperforms their projected low expectations,people/media have a tendency to overrate them.Is Kawhi the best two way player and top 6 overrall ? Yes.....but is he better than Lebron ? No....same goes for Curry.Top 6 player, but not better than Lebron.

Think about it.Lebron gets criticized for carrying the 2007 cavs team to the nba finals and losing. If Kawhi losses to the rockets,people/media will blame the supporting cast and give Kawhi a pass.

Lebron inflated his stats during garbage time when the games were already decided by a large margin. Stats can be very deceiving if you don't watch the games.
This narrative has been repeated too often, let's destroy it once and for all. :aicmon:

Game 1: Lebron's last basket cuts the lead to 2 with 4:09 left in the game. He was taken out with cramping 10 seconds later, and San Antonio finished on a 16-3 run without him. Lebron had 25 on 9-17 shooting from the field and 2-3 from three-point range.

Garbage time: 0 Garbage time stats: 0

Game 2: Miami wins the game by 2. Lebron had 35 on 14-22 shooting from the field and 3-3 from three-point range.

Garbage time: 0 Garbage time stats: 0

Game 3: Miami gets blown out, but there was no "garbage time" until the 4th quarter. The game was still within 11 when the 4th quarter started and was at 13 when Lebron made his final shot with 6:31 left in the game. Lebron was 7-10 for 18 points (including 2-3 from three) in the first 30 minutes of the game, and 2-4 for 4 points in the fourth. There was no "inflating his stats" whatsoever in that game.

Garbage time: about 5 minutes, after Ginobli pushed the lead to 18. Garbage time stats: 0-2 for 0 points.

Game 4: Lebron 10-17 from the field and 4-8 from three for 28 points. He didn't score at all in the fourth quarter, missing his final three shots (all from three). The supposed "garbage time" in this game was the beginning of the 3rd quarter, when Lebron went on a run to cut a 22-point lead to only 13 with 7:36 left in the 3rd quarter. To that point Lebron was 7-9 from the field, 2-3 from three, for 19 points. The idea that this is "garbage time" is ridiculous - they were making a real comeback.

Garbage time: Maybe 17 minutes, after Diaw pushed the lead back to 20. Garbage time stats: 3-6 for 9 points, none in the 4th.

Game 5: Lebron 10-21, including 3-9 from three, for 31 points. His final shot was with 7:32 left to cut the lead to 18, his next-to-last basket had cut the lead to 14 with 9:57 left. The game was actually tight in the first half (when Lebron was 6-12 for 20 points), the Spurs didn't pull away until the 2nd half, and didn't really put it away until the 4th quarter. And Lebron's stats were BETTER in the 1st half than in the 2nd half.

Garbage time: Maybe 17 minutes, after Ginobli pushed the lead to 21. Garbage time stats: 4-8 for 11 points, only 4 in the 4th.

I only put a long garbage time on Games 4 and 5 because it kinda looked like Miami was getting discouraged and playing with a different intensity. Against someone other than those Spurs, those games might have still been within reach. But even if you use the loosest numbers for "garbage time" possible, then Lebron was still only 7-16 for 20 points in 37 minutes of garbage time the whole series, while he was 45-75 for 121 points in the 198 minutes when the games were still in doubt. And that's even counting things like "hit a jumper to cut the lead to 14 with 9:57 still left" as "garbage time".

Watch ya'all shift the goalposts and claim something new and stupid, like, "But Lebron did most of his scoring when they were behind!" When the narrative has always been that Lebron is a "frontrunner" who only plays well when he's ahead.

Shame on you for dapping that Gil-Scott. :scust:

This narrative that Lebron had those great 2014 numbers in garbage time is bs. Kawhi did a great job on defense, and kept Lebron from doing something like he did in 2009 against Orlando, or the last three games of 2016 against Golden State, or even Games 4, 6, 7 against the Spurs the previous year. But he merely contained him, and Lebron was still performing incredibly on offense. The issue in that series was that no one else on the Heat could do crap, especially on defense, and the Spurs were far too efficient to be beaten with anything but an extremely efficient offensive attack. It was having to start 38-lead old Allen and 34-year-old Lewis and limping Wade that killed them, not anything Lebron did on offense.

Look at when I made that post
That clearly has nothing to do with it as you remain on the same shyt now.

That clearly has nothing to do with it when CP3 was historically good throughout the first round up until the final game, and you didnt have shyt positive to say about it along the way. Instead you ignored it, posted corny passive aggressive smilies since you couldnt actually talk shyt and celebrated every Clippers loss like it was Chris' fault.

All this and you still try to claim impartiality and non-bias, as if your simple fraud ass is foolin anyone :mjlol: Hilarious
